Hydration

 Did you know that the average human body is made up of approximately 75% water. We think of our blood and organs needing water to work properly. But how often have you thought about your other body parts needing hydration? Parts like your teeth and bones? Dry skin and eyes?

Did you know that Dehydration can literally make you sick? We have all hear of someone getting a really bad cold or flu and becoming dehydrated because of it. But did you ever think that it could work the other way too?  On the milder end it can cause things like…

  • headaches
  • constipation
  • joint pain or stiffness
  • and Fatigue 

But it can work it’s way up to more serious problems like:

  • high blood pressure
  • high cholesterol
  • Digestive disorders
  • bladder and/or kidney problems

Some of the biggest triumphs that people get when they take my “Waisted on Raw” program are weight loss, energy and the to slow down premature aging, they find their skin feels so much better. While you might be asking yourself right now “How or Why” could hydration possibly help with any of these issues.  I just want to explain a couple more things to you and hopefully it will give you a better idea on how this all works together.

You see, when your body is dehydrated it cannot eliminate the many toxins that are gathered into and onto it on a daily basses. So what happens is your body (as smart as it is), try’s to keep these toxins out of your blood stream and from freely floating around your body causing anymore damage. Thus trying to “safely” store them in your fat cells. Because your not becoming sufficiently hydrated your body feels like it can’t safely remove and eliminate these toxins. So they build up and so does your weight. Once you become and stay hydrated your organs and skin can start to “plump” up. Rather then being all shrivelled up like a raisin. Your body will feel like it’s safe to shed those fat cells and toxins now.
